Some bees buzzing over the birds in a forest in cataluña. It has some wind noise and you could also hear a fainted voice of someone talking far away.

While trying to get my microphone to work, it was having this unusual feed back buzzing pulsing sounds. Along with a strange noise. (this wasn't my voice, and the file hasn't been edited. ). "who's there?" and the "hello's" are of course me, trying to get the microphone to work. I decided to record it after i felt it was strange. The sound is of course free to use for whatever you desire, credit if you want and leave a comment below to be nice. :).

The sound of an ice maker on a water cooler doing a few cycles. My amazing aunt harriet amazes again by sending me this sound of her ice maker. She taped her old iphone to the inside of the door on her new water cooler/ice maker combo, and let the ice maker run for a few cycles. She even typed up a description of what it does for me so i could post this here on freesound:the water is pumped from a reservoir underneeth the ice tray into a tray above that houses 9 pegs. The water is then cooled to freezing, while the 9 pegs are simultaneously cooled to hold the ice in place. More water is then pumped into the tray to thicken each piece of ice. After a few minutes, excess water is dumped back into the reservoir and ice falls from the pegs into the ice tray. The process then repeats. Enjoy and use however you like!.

Recorded this awesome tool my furnace repair man was using called a "pilot sparker. " i recorded it in my professional iso booth with a lewitt lct 640 microphone in omni then in cardiod at various distances from the microphone. Perfect for a tazer, shock sounds, ripped part electrical lines, shocks, weapons. Enjoy!.

Using a variety of 1980s radios connected via a headphone output to the computer, i tuned in - across the entire bandwidth - of the mw and lw channels. I also captured the static hiss of those bands, 'dead air'. There are small clips of various stations along the way but i was looking for that 'tuning in' sound that was so familiar when radio was the central part of every teenager's life.

A short recording of construction work on a ten-storey apartment building in the blackhorse road area of walthamstow, london. General construction noises. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. There is the distinct hum of the transformer/capacitor or whatever helps power them running in the background and then a distinctive click and electronic thud as the lights come on followed by the buzz of the overhead lights as they are warming up. Mp3 and wav files available. It's a pretty distinctive noise and i will try to get a better recording of it next time.
